Inspiration

Being GEN-Z People we find ourselves in an environment where people are not concerned about the resources they use. Seeing this we thought of developing an application that not only promotes the users to increase the usage of renewable resources but also suggests the users about alternate sources of resources which are renewable and environment friendly.

What it does

EnergyWare aims to promote the usage of renewable sources of energy and suggest alternate sources of power.

I worked on the SQL and python, code and mathematical part of the backend configuration, also have played a significant role in developing the base idea of this project. I also learnt kivy, a python library in a very short time, which we did not use here due to bugs which was difficult to solve as the library was learnt in a short period, but ended saving the skill for our next hackathon.

Roshni Venkatesan
I am the project architect and I am the person who came up with the idea of EnergyWare. We used python and SQL to develop the application. I designed the presentation material and also wrote some of the SQL queries used in the project. I had an amazing time working with my fellow teammates and look forward to doing so again !

Paramesh Sriram
I was in charge of the presentations and I helped in making the demo video. I also helped in refining the core idea of the project. Thanks to this hackathon, I got the opportunity to learn a lot of new things and meet a lot of amazing people.

Shruti Hariharan
I was the lead developer of the project. I wrote the application in Python and integrated it with the backend SQL database. The mailing section was also my idea. I had a lot of fun while developing and meet a lot of amazing people ! . ^_^
