Inspiration
In tropical Singapore, Air-conditioners are often used together with the fan. In the evenings, it can be difficult to use it in combination as the family is sleeping. Hence I would like to build Enerchu( inspired by Pikachu) which helps to bring on the fan when the AC is off . It also help to cool my mum in the kitchen and a aunty who is in the hospital
What it does
After the AC is switched off, temperature will rise, Enerchu monitors the temperature and shows the temperature, then at a predetermined temperature, it will cause the fan to switch on , if the temperature continues to rise , it will go up in level to cool down.
How we built it
Firstly after got my idea, i interviewed my friends and relatives to see if they had the same idea, then i understood how to use the power from microbit to power the circult. Assembled the model and and let it run
Challenges we ran into
Finding the right devices, finding the motor driver to scale up power.
What's next for Enerchu
Scaling it up and also for it to be used in other places as well
