Endangered Marine Life

Our team worked on a one page website that was designed to inform users of endangered marine species, ways to help them, and raise awareness of endangerment. We used HTML, CSS, JS, and Asesprite.

Inspiration

Our inspiration came from our desire to help out the endangered species of the ocean and our love for marine life.

What it does

Our one-page website gives information of the different endangered species of marine life and the environmental issues that have lead to their endangerment. With this in mind, our website prompts the user to help improve the environment of marine life.

How we built it

We built this website using HTML, CSS, JS, and Aseprite.

Challenges we ran into

Some of the challenges we ran into included dropping API, formatting pictures and text on screen, and little time to research code and accuracy of endangered species.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to build a website from the ground up despite the time constraints that we were under.

What we learned

We learned how to make a functioning website and gained some collaboration skills.

What's next for Endangered Marine Life

If we had more time, we would've added features such as a way for people to donate to organizations that help endangered marine life.
