I am just an individual with simply the most uncomplicated and easily applied solution to end Robocalls over all technology. My solution is for the FTC to publicize the difference between legal and illegal robocalls, establish a universal number that is easily remembered, provide an extra incentive for receivers of illegal robocalls to report them to the agency by giving them a share of the lawsuit awards, and set up guidelines for the agency to pursue lawsuits against all illegal robocallers, especially repeat offenders. In my opinion, robocalls would end overnight. Robots aren't the ones sending the calls; people are. If the people weren't making money doing it, they wouldn't do it anymore. I have never heard about the FTC paying people to report illegal calls. If they are, then they need to advertise that.
