Inspiration - From driving on the road to walking around the city, it is evident that there are many who are experiencing homelessness. I wanted to bring light to this cause because we often overlook taking action against it.

What it does - This website provides basic facts for uneducated individuals to learn about homelessness and what can be done to prevent it.

How I built it - I used HTML to structure the framework of the website, CSS to organize/style with colors, and JavaScript to make the fact generator.

Challenges I ran into - Making sure all the pictures were aligned was quite difficult. I wanted to ensure that the organization of the facts was easily read by the user.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of - I'm proud of getting the parallax scroll to work and look cohesive with the main page.

What I learned - I learned that making a website accessible is top priority. As much as it is cool to add specific details, if it doesn't fit with the theme of the content or makes consuming information difficult, than it is not worth it.

What's next for End Homelessness in the US - I would love if this website could be used as a template for organizations that help out the homeless. Sharing it through social media can help spread more awareness.
