Challenges

The initial design that we came up with was too busy. We struggled to simplify our ideas into smaller portions. Since this concept is like a social media app, we needed to make it conform into a style that is suitable for an actual social media app; therefore, we needed to revamp our initial design to make it more efficient and have better functions.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The final design has a solid flow and working parts. With the time that we were provided, and the setbacks that came with having to alter our design, having a concept/design for an app that matches a specific theme makes us proud of what we made. For our first hackathon we are happy with the outcome.

What we learned

We definitely improved our figma skills this time around. We learned how to better utilize figma and became more efficient in using it as time went on throughout the event. We also learned that making our ideas into design is difficult, but it is possible through trial and error.
