Inspiration

This project was inspired by our CS journey and the utility we found in online resources that make CS accessible to everyone.

What it does

This website contains information about encryption topics and puzzles for users to solve to help cement learning.

How we built it

We built the website using SvelteKit and the Skeleton UI library which uses TailwindCSS. We deployed using Vercel.

Challenges we ran into

Our team struggled to organize and choose too large of a scope to complete within the time period.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Svelte was new to us so we were proud of deploying a website in a new language over the weekend.

What we learned

We learned a lot about the ins and outs of SvelteKit and met a lot of really cool people, building important connections.

What's next for Decryptid!

After the Hackathon we will continue to build out this project to add more topics and implement a badge system with Auth0 authentication so that users can keep track of what courses they've completed through badges earned from puzzles and share their badges with others.
