Inspiration
We wanted to inform the public about the inequality in pay grade between female and male counterparts.
What it does
Empower U.S. spreads the information about inequality in the United States with every update!
How we built it
We built off of the Qoom workshop from Saturday, adapting our own code while keeping the single-page formatting.
Challenges we ran into
The "ABOUT" link wouldn't work because of an accidental double E, but we were able to solve that when proofreading the code at the end.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud that we were able to finish the project in time, especially since we had a late start and a late addition to our team.
What we learned:
We learned how to code a simple website on Qoom, and how to collaborate on Replit
What's next for Empower U.S.
We hope to be able to continue updating the website, it's far from finished, and would like to continue informing people of the gender inequality so we can make a difference.
