Elementum was inspired by Dr. G, Last Airbender, and Moana.

What it does

Your world is dying from pollution and there is only one way to save it--go to the world of Elementum and get the blue crystal and bring it back to Earth. You succeeded to get the crystal and are heading back. Now, creatures representing fire, water, air, and earth are going after you. With the crystal, you now have the powers to defeat them, but you must discover how. Using a combination of gestures, you must defeat each creature as they come after you. Be quick--before you are captured to stay in Elementum forever while your world dies.

How we built it

We built it during a weekend Hackathon using Magic Leap device. Art was created in Autodesk and Adobe creative tools. We built our game in Unity.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into challenges of the limitation of the Magic Leap device. Work on the strength and choose to focus on hand gestures. The issue we came across was a limitation of Unity and the device like the use of good particle effects.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were proud of being able to make a game in a new platform and the use of hand gestures.

What we learned

We learned a lot of the capabilities Magic Leap platform and would love to work on it more.
