Employee shedule

Inspiration

The idea for developing the idea was inspired actually from Instagram reels in which some people have posted about how to effectively communicate with their employer and manage their daily tasks rather than just accepting whatever they assign to them if they have more tasks than they can handle. The reason behind posting such content may be due to a large group of employees have this issue thus the idea for developing this application was developed

What it does

It is basically a scheduling tool that helps in arranging daily tasks. The most important feature of this application is that it allows the employer to see how many tasks an employee is having thus it help the employer to assign task accordingly. This feature ensures that each employee is allocated the right amount of work, preventing any overburdening and underutilization of their skill, and helps in achieving maximum productivity for both employee and employer.

How we built it

We have built this application using kotlin language and jetpack compose framework in android studio. we have also used Firebase frameworks firestore and Authentication, compose navigation, Swipe library for swiping animation, Accompanist, etc...

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge that I ran into while developing an application while is developing a good UI for this application at the same time developing all the functions of this application apart from having a fever.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The accomplishment that I am really proud of is that it can help in making employees maintain their work-life balance as their employers will no longer assign them tasks without knowing what they already have.

What's next for Employee schedule

This application can have much more functionalities that I couldn't develop with this time that is allowing the employer to easily keep track of employee based on the amount of task they have completed and and have on schedule through out a month
