Inspiration
Shopping for clothes online is a gamble, because you never know how something will look or fit on you. I wanted a fashion store for women, men, streetwear and luxury where you can see the outfit on yourself first.
What it does
Empire Glamour lets you upload your photo, get matching outfits from an AI stylist, see the pieces on yourself with virtual try-on, and get size and fit advice before you order. You can browse by category, add to cart, sign in and check out. An admin dashboard lets the owner manage store details, products and stock.
How we built it
It is a web app with a React front end and a server for the catalog, stylist, try-on and shop logic. It is live on Vercel at empire-glamour.vercel.app, with mobile and desktop versions too. I built it step by step.
Challenges we ran into
Making try-on renders look realistic, matching outfits across very different styles, getting the mobile layout right, and keeping product photos and categories organized.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
A live, working store that covers women's, men's, streetwear and luxury fashion, with try-on, styling, size advice and an admin dashboard in one app.
What we learned
How to take an idea from design to a live store, how to structure a product catalog, and how to ship updates quickly.
What's next for Empire Glamour
