Emotiv-Brain-Trainer

A hackathon project to merge the Emotiv Epoc+ with the pyBrain machine learning. The project is designed to work with the Emotiv Community SDK which can be found here. The script contains all the necessary functions to train the neural network using the data given from the headset while being easy and simple to use.

Originally the idea was to use the inputs of the scanner to be put into the network and we'd think of a number to train it. The end result was to guess what number the user was thinking. It turns out the readings from the device were more a load that the brain was at and not dependent on thoughts. The higher values came with more movements etc. The plans are to use this tool for a more health oriented project or for managing emotions and feelings of stress or meditation.
