Inspiration
The inspiration was to use facials cues to display emojis that reflects the emotions of the user on screen while watching a YouTube video. The aim is to skip past content that bores and seek out that which inspires, challenges and entertains.
What it does
The Web app plays a Playlist and skips through content based on facial cues. A happy facial expression will generate a happy emoji.
How we built it
We built it with NodeJS hosted on Heroku and we used the microsoft emotion API.

We are proud that the idea was implemented in 3 hours.
What we learned
Lessons learned : don't be afraid to pivot from original concepts. Be reasonable in your goals and find creative ways to combine already existing tools and frameworks.

The future is wide open for this Web app.
