Inspiration
There need to be better ways to filter news based on emotions. People share so many great articles and annotate them with emojis to express how they feel, that we decided that we need to build a solution that filters news based on emoji input.
What it does
RSS feeds of popular media outlets and content they post on their Facebook pages is used to filter how news articles are being shared on Twitter and which emojis are being used along with them. We then offer a Facebook Messenger chatbot that replies most relevant articles to emoji input. You also can post selfies of yourself, we used Microsoft Oxford API to read emotions and filter for that as well.
