Inspiration

Patients are hurried to medical assistance in emergency scenarios or on-road accidents in order to save their lives. However, the drugs prescribed to patients following surgery depend on the preexisting illnesses they have, such as diabetes or any pharmaceutical allergies that might result in fatal consequences. EmergiLifeis a medical solution that aims to quickly and accurately identify a patient's pre-existing medical conditions and allergies in emergency situations. By providing this information to medical professionals, it can help them to make more informed decisions about treatment and potentially save the patient's life.

What it does

By having a database of patient medical records that is unlocked using biometric identification such as fingerprint or facial recognition and requiring a security code from authorized medical professionals, the system could ensure patient privacy while also providing quick and easy access to important medical information in emergency situations. For example,if a patient has a history of a certain condition, this information would be immediately available to the doctor and could help them to make a more accurate diagnosis and provide more appropriate treatment.Additionally, if a patient has a history of allergies or adverse reactions to certain medications, this information could be used to avoid prescribing those medications and potentially prevent life-threatening reactions. To ensure the privacy of the patient's medical record, the concerned doctor will need to include his security code, which was granted by the government. Doctors would also learn about the medical histories of the patients they had operated on.

How we built it

We used databases and backend along with frontend. We first designed the website using Figma then converted that design into code using React js ,Html, Css, Js. Using databases such as mongo and firebase.

What's next for EmergiLife

To broaden the system's coverage of medical diseases and to add more comprehensive patient data, such as lab and imaging study findings Incorporating machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms into the system, which might aid in finding patterns and trends in patient data and help with more accurate diagnosis and treatments.
