EmergencyReady

Inspiration

We were inspired to create this idea because of the data that shows 50% of Americans do not know how to prepare effectively for emergencies. This made us think what we could do to help ordinary citizens prepare in a fun and interactive way.

What it does

We created a website that shows what we made to educate people to do in emergency situations.

How we built it

We used VSCode as the compiler and we used jQuery, CSS, and HTML

Challenges we ran into

Making all the questions and putting them into the website was extremely time consuming.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We put in lots of features including a custom timer that will help improve users' ability to react during emergencies

What we learned

We learned that during emergencies, we must stay calm, follow reliable instructions, and understand emergency procedures beforehand to stay the safest.
