One in 10 patients in India dies on the way to the hospital. Every day, an estimated 24,012 patient lives are lost due to ambulances being held up by traffic. Of the 1,46,133 people dying in road accidents, 30% of it was due to delayed ambulance. Moreover, more than 50% of heart attack cases reach hospital late too due to patients being stuck in traffic.

The situation in dire and the existing systems have proven to be incapable of handling the situation as required.

What it does

The key concept is simple: Virtual Ambulance.

A virtual ambulance is started before the actual ambulance takes off. The virtual ambulance knows the path the driver will be taking from our algorithm and so, the virtual ambulance will clear out the path by overriding the traffic signals. This would provide the ambulance with a clear path to save time and lives.
