Emergency Eagle

Inspiration

We wanted to make a project that was both practical and doable with the skills we had.

What it does (in theory)

The users are civilians and paramedics. A civilian creates an account with their medical data. When they are in an emergency situation, they can press the SOS button to find the nearest ambulance and send the paramedics their medical data and location. Both users will be able to see each others locations in real time.

How we built it

We used VSCode and Github to write the code. The languages we used were HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and php.

Challenges we ran into

Creating a web server. Getting map with current location to display. Time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Incorporating Google API. Geolocation API. Collaboration.

What we learned

Creating a server with digital ocean. Using Bootstrap. Google maps and geolocation API.

What's next for Emergency Eagle

Actually finishing all of our goals for what it does.

My contribution to the project includes the creation of the navbar and settings page. I also added functionality to other frontend components. I came up with the idea of adding medical data, improving practicality.

Lokesh Vaddi
I worked at the front-end and developed 2 of the web pages. I also worked on the debugging for the API endpoints for logging and registering. I also helped create the web server. And I came up with the original idea

Istiaqul Alam
I worked on the api endpoint and the database of the project. In the later stages of the project, I helped debug code the call for the api.
