What it does
Open world map (of characters) which the player has to navigate to find the various mini games like snake, a memory game and a text based game for the sport cricket. The player has to beat all mini games to win the game!
How I built it
Just using C++ no libraries, no fancy graphics!
Challenges I ran into
Having no libraries to take help from! We had to print the map every frame so the screen would flash as the player moved around the screen
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
The fact that we used what we learnt in class to make something interesting. I always loved playing games and making this game was something I wanted to try, and this made my realize I loved making games and pushed me further to learn more about game dev. Even though this is very rudimentary, seeing the little smiley face move around the map of ugly characters was very satisfying. I also got a good understanding of file handling, stacks,arrays as we used all of this in the project!
