Inspiration

We are inspired by the 17 goals provided in the website of United Nation. We are tend to achieve quality education and open source of technology.

What it does

Our project is to provide an instruction on learning embedded system through a auto-detect car. The instruction contains the material list, coding instruction and demo, 3D modelling file, and remote guidance.

How we built it

To simplify the project and fit the environment of Africa, it uses Arduino nano board, ultrasonic sensor which can find from Ali Express with a relative low price. Moreover, the chassis and the outer shell of the car could be made by any material around them follow by the 3D model provided in the instruction.

Challenges we ran into

The challenges are mainly in debugging of code and collecting information from African countries. We need to balance the cost of each car to make the project applicable in the area.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have built the sample model and confirmed the solution is feasible. Also, this project could reuse the defective electronics product and reduce the waste at the same time.

What we learned

Although the education is important, it is hard to let everyone in the world have the chance to reach learning resources. We provide an open source project and channel of materials to make the equity of learning.

What's next for EmbLearn361

Refined our solution and provide a detailed solution that include the shipping services and connecting with local government.
