Inspiration

We are all pretty sick with increasing number of messages which are spams. So, it is built to solve that problem. I would also like to give credit to @CampusX . It is inspired from his SMS spam classifier project.

What it does

It classifies messages of your mails or sms as spam or not spam.

How I built it

I built it using python, Jupyter-notebook, pycharm and streamlit.

Challenges we ran into

The most toughest challenge was to make it precise and accurate so it can filter message easily. Another was to use nltk package of python3.9 as it not included in it, so hosting it as a webpage was also challenge as we need to download nltk package externally from terminal.

What's next for Email/SMS Spam detection System

Well, I will try to improve accuracy more and make it more responsive and beautify it's frontend.
