Elsewhere is a free, web-based platform built with Django + React, designed to help young people (ages 18–30) discover safe, inclusive, and low-cost third places to hang out—like cafés, libraries, parks, and community centers. Unlike Yelp or TripAdvisor, Elsewhere prioritizes: • Small, local businesses only • Spaces that support Black, LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, and disabled communities • Accessibility filters for quiet, sensory-friendly, and inclusive vibes • A “word-of-mouth” discovery model powered by user-submitted vibes, tips, and micro-guides
