Eliminations of Robocalls

Let's begin with how so many of us are getting unwanted robocalls. As we know when a consumer shops, you know, fill out those sweepstakes forms ( for that great car, vacation or family portrait ) at the mall or grocery store; at the bottom in very small print it usually states a provision that your information can be used by third parties associated and/or inconjunction with this offer, and you may be contacted for future offers, and promotions, etc. etc. etc. So, let's help stop contributing to the cause. The goal is to provide individuals with the broadest selection, throughout the world, the capability of eliminating unwanted, solicted calls that do not require call tracing, attached with a monthly fee, or call blocking, that you have to write the number down, then enter a code, then enter the number to be blocked. My solution, to stop the madness , which will be optional to those who choose, is to have an extension number, simlar to businesses. You will have 1 number per household (now multiple landlines telephone numbers are optional) each person having an extension number. Any one can call your number, but for people who you actually know and do business with, you will give them your direct extension number, but if you do not give your extension number, then they won't have access, your phone will not ring. When a caller calls in, a recording ask for "extension number, please", if no extension number is entered, then after a few seconds you will hear a recording say thank you, goodbye.
