Inspiration

Eliminating child labour is the need of the hour. Many children are becoming victims of this and their lives are ruined.

What it does

It provides general information on child labour. It also has a very useful option to report cases of child labour. We can collect the data from the backend and send it to the police/concerned body for further action. The web app also has an engaging feature where people can support the elimination of child labour by creating posters and paintings.

How we built it

This web app is made with Python and launched on streamlit framework.

Challenges we ran into

The first challenge that I ran into is managing so much code. There was a lot of code to deal with that I am not used to. The second challenge was to choose a good topic that promotes social good and is not outdated.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The biggest accomplishment that I am proud of is that I created my web app the way I wanted it to be. And after all, I am able to submit to this Hackathon. As "Participation is more important than winning"

What we learned

I learned to deal with Github and hard work pays. I was satisfied after completing the project. And we should never lose hope and keep working hard.

What's next for Eliminate Child labour

Expand the website by connecting it to concerned bodies that can stop child labour cases and add up more interesting features to draw users' attention.
