Inspiration

This project was inspired by Roland 1980 Drum Machine

What it does

This circuit allows someone to play 8 different notes

How we built it

We used 555 timers to generate different frequencies. We then allowed each of these different frequencies to be played by feeding them into an audio amplifier, which drove a speaker.

Challenges we ran into

We had issues with stability, our circuit would sometimes behave differently out of nowhere.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It was cool to make different sounds just through a circuit.

What we learned

We explored different ways to generate frequencies.

What's next for Electronic Synthesizer

We could make a way to play songs on it automatically, such as having an Arduino controlling which notes are played.
