Electrify!

Electrify is an app that displays your energy usage and offers consumers tools for them to be able to reduce their energy usage. Consumers can easily enter their data in or have it imported from Green Button (Green Button auto-fills many forms). Calculators show consumers how their can save money and puts energy savings in perspective - for my house's Green Button data, switching to CFL would buy me almost 300 Starbucks Lattes worth in savings. Data from the Department of Energy's website is formatted and displayed in an interactive format and makes it easy to understand as well as accessible on mobile devices.

The app was created by two teenage brothers, Ajay Jain (13) and Paras Jain (16). Their goal is to change the world with technology and Electrify is the first step toward this goal.

The app is on the iOS and Android Markets as well as a webapp. It works on the iPhone, iPod Touch, and the iPad as well as Android phones and Android Tables natively.
