Inspiration
We are personally greatly interested in machine learning and data science and we are always seeking challenging problems to solve, and thus we decided to take a part in the AIHack to develop our machine learning skills.
What it does
Use linear regression to predict the electricity prices and hence to decided when to charge and discharge the battery to make a profit.
How we built it
We use python and machine learning algorithms to develop the model.
Challenges we ran into
Since we have little experience in the pandas module, we have some trouble understanding the functions and codes in the pandas library. But eventually, we overcome these difficulties and complete the project.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We enjoyed ourselves a lot about the teamwork.
What we learned
We all have a better understanding of machine learning algorithms.
