Inspiration

Customers looking to purchase EVs have to collate information from multiple sources (EV model, regulatory, EV lifestyle, etc) before they are able to make the right decision

What it does

Electric Sherpa collates all the information in one place and provides an easy chatbot-type interface powered by Perplexity's Sonar-reasoning-pro API

How we built it

It was built using Python and Streamlit

Challenges we ran into

Some difficulties in choosing the right list of websites which can cover all likely questions new EV users would have

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Very simple and intuitive interface. We were also able to integrate the Sonar-reasoning-pro API well into the project

What we learned

Sonar-reasoning-pro's 'Search Domain Filter' option is very powerful and can help scale this project to multiple geographies

What's next for Electric Sherpa

Scale and test it in other EV markets (India, Australia, etc)
