Inspiration
We wanted to focus on a challenge that had strong impact, a creative technological component, and would solve a major societal challenge, something that is increasing in the face of global companies working together, to create a better world.
What it does
Instead of a traditional leaflet, we use a barcode scanner to scan the drug's barcode. Our app opens a portal to a digital leaflet, which is complemented by additional material which provides additional information to help the patient ingest the information better, and have an overall better experience.
How we built it
We used a javascript framework to read the barcode of the provided drug, we fetch locally, nationally approved documents that are provided by stakeholders like regulatory bodies or pharmaceutical companies. The validity of these documents is verified cryptographically through a digital signature of approval.
