This is a documentary filmed back in 2017 at a fútbol match in San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina, by Alina Bardavid and Fabricio Luna Quiroga.

For the Gen:48 competition, Fabian Mosele and Alina Bardavid got together and re-purposed her footage to re-imagine it in a new synthographic way. Using Runway's latest video editing model, Aleph, we added, removed and edited the live-action footage for our story.

As a synthographic documentary, this film documents a real match that happened 8 years ago, not disrupting the match itself, but rather "enhancing" it with a new narrative. A narrative that uses the limitations and strengths of AI editing models to add new meaning to the footage.
