What it does

El Baúl de los Cuentos transforms short narratives into AI-enhanced mini-films. It blends AI-generated imagery, crafted scripts, sound design, and voice-driven narration to create immersive short stories that feel magical, atmospheric, and emotionally resonant.

How we built it

We combined multiple AI tools for image generation, video creation, and narration. Scripts are written manually and then shaped with AI assistance. Visuals are crafted using generative video models, while voice AI and post-production tools help create cohesive, cinematic mini-films. All elements are curated and refined by humans to ensure quality and emotional depth.

Challenges we ran into

One major challenge was maintaining visual consistency across AI-generated scenes. Another was achieving natural narration and emotional pacing using voice AI. We also had to experiment heavily to balance artistic direction, coherence, and the technological limits of current video models.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We successfully created a unique storytelling format that merges AI innovation with handcrafted creativity. Our YouTube channel has grown to over 600 subscribers, and several of our mini-films have reached more than 68,000 views, proving that audiences genuinely connect with this new form of AI-powered storytelling.

What we learned

We learned how to combine multiple AI tools into a single creative pipeline, how to guide generative models to produce consistent artistic styles, and how to use AI as a true creative partner while ensuring human direction remains at the core.

What's next for El Baúl de los Cuentos

We plan to expand the project into a larger collection of mini-films, introduce multilingual narration, explore interactive story formats, and create themed seasons for different moods—horror, fantasy, folktales, and beyond.
