For the IMCity Challenge, we built a setup that let us trade all 8 markets manually and reliably. We didn’t use any automated trading. Instead, we focused on getting the right data quickly and making decisions ourselves. We created two small data monitors and connected five external APIs to keep track of weather, settlements, and flight activity. Because the data was clean and updated in real time, we were able to make accurate estimates from the start. One important finding for us was the influence of Market 6 (6_Airport). To react as fast as possible, we used Flightradar24 to watch incoming flights and adjust our trades accordingly. Our team split the work clearly: One person traded One checked the numbers and kept everything consistent Two focused on collecting and preparing the data This simple division of roles helped us stay organized and trade without mistakes.
