Inspiration
Bring the curve down again, reduce all physical contacts to the minimum (the faster and stronger, the shorter the quarantine period).
What it does
You enter your shopping list for different local stores. Some volunteers there do the pickup and after some time things are delivered. People shouldn't go out, simply. So basically every household should order via such a system.
Payments should be either done in cash or via a local trust system, nothing to tackle for a fast, flexible, universal solution.
How I built it
It is done as a single server per community (municipality/district). To keep things running for the most (no central blackouts). Based on Python/Django, using some Javascript. It's a hack, well, as it is a hackathon.
Challenges I ran into
Keeping things ordered, hacking three days mostly alone.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Well, it kind a works now.
What I learned
Better have a team for decisions / inspirations. But things move fast if you are alone even though things are not settled.
What's next for KoopKauf
Reliable hosting. Using it.
