Inspiration

During a humorous moment, we realized that individuals would be more likely to use an app that utilized comedy in comparison to seriousness. The mission behind Eggmates is to provide users a safe and welcoming environment where they can make friends and possibly meet their soulmate with just a click.

What it does

Eggmates is an interactive connection service that allows you to find a partner by clicking on a 3D egg icon while it analyzes others that are simultaneously clicking too.

How we built it

HTML, CSS, Flask, Python, and tears.

Challenges we ran into

Our own stupidity and three hours of trying to embed a 3d egg. Our main issue came in connecting the front and backend due to several misnamed variables and a lack of sleep.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The site works, enables user account creation, and allows users to match with their Eggmates.

What's next for Eggmates
