Inspiration

Firstly I am participating in a hackathon is in itself very much exciting for me, The project I chose because I actually see a problem here of awareness, compared to social media there are always trends going on people following each other, the same thing can be implemented with our environmental problems. We have to know what others are doing in this field, what projects are made by others, what are the problems, and what is that I can help the community with. Humans are social and responsible creatures once they become a part of the EEto community, they get positions like coordinators, head of operations, See themselves on the world map, See and feel for climate problems, Surely people will work on helping the environment become better.

What it does

It aims to establish a community of enlightened Youth through education and awareness about Technology And Environmentalism. We offer positions of responsibility to our members such as coordinators, event heads, they get recognization on the world map. We have Clubs for good segregation of community members and better networking and it helps in better organization. We learn from technical projects which are already available, we duplicate or modify them and implement the projects into practice. Augmented Reality is something we can scale up upon. We can have AR videos along streets, gardens guiding and connecting people.

How we built it

Everything is implemented on the website, discord, Facebook, Twitter could be used for more communication between community members. Reactjs for frontend Mapbox for maps Padlet for note making and event map Dialogflow for making bot Unity for AR videos

Challenges we ran into

Time is one of the challenges, I wanted to have more inclusion of AR. Mapbox API was not loading when deployed.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud that I could actually produce something effective, The idea of EEto is something that can work if implemented properly. If I imagine the concept of EEto working many things come to my mind, we will have something of the new world, All youths caring for the environment, very knowledgeable about climate problems. Having projects, There is AR videos and tools all around the globe people connecting with other and growing.

What we learned

I learned a lot from the project lot technical things, I learned how to implement maps in react which could be used for my projects ahead. Working With AR and understanding its power. Brainstorming, thinking of ideas, building changing things again building its been an amazing experience.

What's next for EEto

Bringing as much AR as possible. We can plant trees and have our AR models on top of them we can show them to our children later that this tree belongs to me and I planted it 10-20years ago, and having more AR tools. Making a group and trying to put forward the idea of EEto and actually build a community.
