Inspiration
Students everywhere struggle to find organized, personalized study resources and career roadmaps, finding universities that offer same program and much more. Existing content is scattered and hard to navigate. That’s why we built Edvvo—a student-made platform designed to simplify learning and guide futures.
What it does
Edvvo simplifies the student journey by offering organized study notes, clear learning roadmaps, and entry test preparation guides, Career Planning, Selection of University. With a clean, student-friendly design, it removes the clutter and confusion—helping learners stay focused, whether they're prepping for exams or planning their future careers.
How we built it
We built Edvvo using React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Mega Drive for lightning-fast performance and scalability. A clean UI/UX ensures even the least tech-savvy students can use it with ease. Collaboration happened through GitHub, and we deployed via Netlify for instant, reliable access.
Challenges we ran into
One of the biggest hurdles was time management—balancing frontend polish with backend logic under tight hackathon deadlines was tough. Being a student with limited resources, I relied on free tools and a Mega Drive link instead of a full-fledged database. Still, we pushed through, learned a ton, and made it work.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We take pride in the fact that we produced something useful and significant so quickly. It was immensely satisfying to watch the platform truly function, load content, and feel helpful. And the fact that it's something that actually helps students? For us, that is a significant victory.
What we learned
We learned to prioritize user needs, work as a team under pressure, and that debugging a messy codebase is no joke.
What's next for Edvvo Educational Platform
AI-powered study plans, smart dashboards, verified educator content, and a student-driven resource hub. Edvvo isn’t just growing—it’s evolving.
