Inspiration

Education today often struggles with engagement, personalization, and accessibility. I wanted to reimagine learning so it’s immersive, adaptive, and holistic. Inspired by gamified learning, AI tutors, and wellness science, I created EduVerse — a platform where students don’t just learn, they experience education.

What it does

EduVerse is an AI-powered immersive learning universe designed for students and teachers:

Students explore subject-specific worlds, interact with an AI study buddy, track wellness, earn skill badges, and listen to focus music.

Teachers use an AI lesson composer, real-time engagement tracker, adaptive quiz creator, and a teacher dashboard to create engaging, data-driven lessons.

How we built it

Frontend: React.js for dynamic user interfaces.

Animations: CSS and JavaScript for animated learning environments.

3D Worlds: Three.js for interactive immersive worlds.

State Management: React state to store points, logs, and badge data.

Mock AI & Data: Simulated AI interactions and mock databases to focus on speed and demo readiness.

Challenges we ran into

Balancing feature depth with speed for hackathon timelines.

Simulating AI without backend APIs.

Designing immersive worlds while keeping performance light.

Creating a scalable architecture that can later integrate real AI and cloud storage.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Building a full-featured education platform in a hackathon timeframe.

Designing multiple immersive worlds for different subjects.

Creating a Teacher Dashboard that consolidates multiple AI tools in one place.

Integrating wellness and skill credentialing into the learning experience.

What we learned

How to quickly prototype a complex education platform.

How to use React effectively for modular, scalable projects.

How to blend gamification, AI, and wellness in a learning ecosystem.

How to prioritize and deliver a functional MVP under tight timelines.

What's next for EduVerse

Integrating real AI APIs for lesson composition and adaptive quizzes.

Adding webcam-based stress detection for wellness mode.

Turning SkillHub badges into blockchain-based credentials.

Expanding immersive worlds with VR and AR capabilities.
