Inspiration
Many people want to multiply their wealth by investing their savings. However, investment is not 100% safe for those seeking guaranteed wealth growth. This happens because the potential profits and risks of loss from invested capital cannot be predicted with absolute certainty.
This unpredictability is due to the fact that investment instruments, such as stocks, bonds, and the like, are interconnected globally. If one country experiences an economic shock, it will directly affect market conditions in other countries. It is this exact condition that makes financial education essential for the public; it serves to guide their investment direction so they can multiply their wealth from savings safely, purposefully, and measurably.
What it does
Edutrading App Concept Since this is a trading education application, the concept is structured as follows:
a. Introduction to the world of trading and investment, both in general and specifically from global investment experts. b. Introduction to stocks, bonds, and other instruments commonly used for investment. c. Introduction on how to calculate profits and losses from investing in stocks and similar assets. Note: These introductory materials will be presented in the form of videos sourced directly from YouTube and downloadable PDF documents that are completely free of charge.
How I built it
Edutrading Features Edutrading is a web-based application designed for learning how to trade, featuring the following tools:
Learning Pathways (Structured Learning Path): A feature where learning materials are not displayed randomly but are organized into several levels, such as Beginner (Introduction & Mindset), Intermediate (Stocks & Bonds), and Advanced (Profit/Loss Analysis & Global Market Risks). Integrated Video Player: A built-in feature to play trading introduction and tutorial videos without external ads that could potentially disrupt the learning process. Knowledge Hub and PDF Downloader: A dedicated feature used to download trading learning modules and view assignment sheets for each lesson with just a single click. Progress Tracker: A feature that visualizes learning progress percentages to keep trading students motivated. Interactive Trading: A simulation feature for practical trading practice that uses points instead of real money. These points are earned through active participation in lessons and completing trading assignments.
