INSPIRATION As a high school student, I often felt overwhelmed by how scattered the college preparation process is. My certificates were stored in different folders, important deadlines were easy to miss, and opportunities like competitions, scholarships, and internships were spread across countless websites. I wanted a single platform that could bring everything together.
What EduTrack Does EduTrack is a one-stop platform that helps students manage every part of their university journey. Students can track their academic achievements and extracurricular activities, explore entrance exams like SAT, IELTS, and JEE, compare universities and their requirements, and discover scholarships, internships, and competitions—all in one place.
How I built it
I have first played out how I wanted its interface and then with the help of MeDo, I built it and corrected any errors that were there in initial versions
What I Learned This project taught me how technology can solve real problems. I learned how to plan a large application, design databases, and create tools that are both powerful and easy to use. Most importantly, I learned that a great product starts with understanding a genuine need.
Challenges I Faced The biggest challenge was combining so many features without making the platform feel overwhelming. I had to carefully organize information and focus on creating a simple and intuitive experience for students.
Why It Matters Students have incredible potential, but many miss opportunities simply because they don’t know where to look or how to stay organized. EduTrack gives them a clear roadmap, helping them turn their ambitions into real opportunities and, ultimately, admission to their dream universities.
