Inspiration
No specific inspiration. We decided to build a simple general trivia site as proposed by team member.
What it does
Lets user interact with trivia via quizzes. Allows user to create an account, collect a score and enter leaderboard
How we built it
We used Spring boot and Spring Security. The website is primarily written in Java (backend), and Javascript, HTML, and CSS for frontend.
Challenges we ran into
Creative processes, account creation and management.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Figuring out how to load accounts, let users login, and store data between sessions. Also, figuring out a nice style for website.
What we learned
Team members learned how APIs expose data, how to work js, CSS, and html all together, how to use Spring features, how an build automation tool works (Maven), and more extensive Java features.
What's next for EduTech
Hopefully we will return to this project after this project expo and add more features, making it a full fledged website.
