Inspiration
As a student, I often spend a lot of time reading long articles for my research and assignments. I wanted a tool that could quickly summarize information and highlight the most important points. That is why I built EduSummarizer.
What I Learned
Through this project, I learned how to organize code into HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and how to work with Kiro to speed up the development process. I also learned the importance of user-friendly design for students and researchers.
How I Built It
I built this project using Kiro AI for coding assistance. The main structure was made with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The app allows users to paste text or article links, select the type of summary, and instantly get results.
Challenges
One of the main challenges was handling links from different websites and making the summarizer flexible. Another challenge was keeping the interface simple but still useful. I also faced time management issues during the hackathon, but I overcame them step by step.
Conclusion
EduSummarizer is simple, fast, and designed to help students save time in their research and studies.
