Inspiration

Students often struggle to manage their study schedules, practice quizzes, and keep track of their learning progress using different tools. We wanted to create EduStudy, a student-focused platform that brings essential study tools together in one place and makes learning more organized and accessible.

What it does

EduStudy is a student productivity and learning platform with five main sections:

  • Dashboard: Provides a central place to access study tools.
  • AI Tutor: Offers an interface for exploring AI-assisted learning.
  • Study Planner: Helps students organize their study activities.
  • Quiz Generator: Provides an interactive space for quiz practice.
  • Progress: Gives students a dedicated section to review their learning progress.

The current AI Tutor operates in demo mode, and an external AI provider is not yet connected.

How we built it

We built EduStudy using React to create the user interface and Vite for local development and production builds. We used Git and GitHub for version control and source code hosting, and Vercel to deploy the frontend. We organized the application into separate sections to make the interface easier to navigate and extend.

Challenges we ran into

Some challenges included configuring the project correctly, resolving package configuration issues, refining the interface, and deploying the frontend successfully. We also explored MCP server integration and recognized that reliable tool integration requires additional configuration and end-to-end testing.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of building a unified student-learning interface with a dashboard, study planner, quiz generator, AI Tutor section, and progress area. We successfully built and deployed the frontend and published the source code on GitHub. We also established a foundation that can be extended
