Inspiration

As an AS-Level student passionate about both Computer Science and Art & Design, I noticed a massive roadblock for young content creators and educators. People spend hours, sometimes days, formatting screenplays, creating visual storyboards, and calculating production workflows before they can even hit record. I built EduStream AI to collapse this entire tedious process into a few seconds, unlocking pure creative productivity.

What it does

EduStream AI serves as an instantaneous pre-production workspace. A user simply types in an educational concept or video topic, and the platform automates a cohesive three-part production blueprint:

  1. Formatted Script: A clean screenplay layout with dialogue and action cues.
  2. Storyboard Visual Prompts: Descriptive shot lists tailored for graphic and layout artists.
  3. Productivity Metrics: Clear insight into saved hours, estimated complexity, and financial value of the automated workflow. ## How we built it The prototype interface is built from scratch utilizing modern frontend web design paradigms including structured HTML5 layouts, customized CSS3 cinema-themed palettes, and dynamic JavaScript execution logic. The system simulates autonomous AI agent behavior by parsing input prompts to output structured technical design templates instantly. ## Challenges we ran into Operating as a solo developer with a strict submission window meant balancing backend computational architecture with visual interface design. I had to focus heavily on prioritizing a clean user experience (UX) and establishing stable logic flows to ensure the data renders cleanly without lag or formatting breaks.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I am proud of creating a functional, highly responsive, and aesthetically polished product on my own. Successfully blending structured programming rules with artistic layout principles allowed me to build an application that is both technically practical and highly intuitive for creatives.

What I learned

I deeply advanced my knowledge of frontend web structure, responsive layout principles, and interactive application flows. I also learned how crucial it is to design tech tools with the end-user's actual productivity workflow in mind.

What's next for EduStream AI

I plan to fully integrate the platform with live API pipelines from Google Cloud's Gemini and Vertex AI frameworks to enable fully dynamic autonomous agent generations. I also intend to implement a feature that generates actual rough AI-sketched image mockups alongside the storyboard text prompts.
