Inspiration Traditional learning platforms often struggle with two core problems: students lack personalized guidance tailored to their specific curriculum, and teachers spend countless hours manually drafting question papers and evaluating responses. We wanted to build a bridge between these two worlds—a platform that gives students an interactive, AI-powered tutor while providing teachers with automated tools to generate tests and grade them effortlessly.

What it does EduSpark is an all-in-one EdTech ecosystem built for CBSE Class 10 students and teachers:

For Students:

Adaptive Learning Hub: Offers subject-wise chapters (Mathematics, Science, English, Social Science) with AI-generated interactive notes and video lessons.

Interactive Study Tools: Active recall flashcards for formulas/definitions, daily goals, and weekly milestone tracking.

Gamified Quizzes: Earn XP, coins, and badges by completing chapter drills to keep learning engaging.

AI Doubt Center: Instant resolutions using text, image ("Snap"), or voice inputs with mentor-verified explanations.

Multilingual Support: Dynamic language switching across English, Hindi, Tamil, and Spanish.

For Teachers:

Custom Paper Generator: Assembles custom question papers based on specific boards, time limits, total marks, and selected chapters.

AI-Powered Evaluation: Automatically grades student answer submissions and provides detailed feedback and score breakdowns.

Class Analytics: Centralized teacher dashboard to monitor student accuracy, streaks, and overall topic mastery.

How we built it Frontend: Built with React using a modern Cyber-Glass UI design language—featuring Glassmorphic cards, custom neon accents, smooth 3D micro-interactions, and high-contrast dark/light modes.

Backend & AI Orchestration: Integrated LLM APIs (via Groq/Llama-3) to power dynamic lesson generation, flashcard prompts, and answer evaluation.

Database & Auth: Configured mock authentication for guest student flows and teacher portals with local storage persistence and database state tracking for paper submissions.

Challenges we ran into API Rate Limiting & Fallbacks: Handling LLM rate limits gracefully when multiple lesson assets or evaluation scripts are generated simultaneously.

Dynamic PDF/Paper Formatting: Ensuring LaTeX-formatted math equations and structures render properly both on web screens and inside printable test papers.

State Management Across Portals: Maintaining consistent progress data, streaks, and scores when switching between student guest profiles and teacher views on the same local client.

Accomplishments that we're proud of Designed and built a completely polished, end-to-end Cyber-Glass aesthetic interface from scratch.

Built a functional AI Paper Generator & Grader that creates custom exam papers in seconds and grades them automatically.

Successfully integrated multi-format doubt solving (text, snap, voice) and real-time multilingual UI toggles.

What we learned Effective techniques for AI prompt engineering to structure raw LLM outputs into predictable JSON formats for flashcards, quizzes, and grading scripts.

Optimizing complex React component structures and glassmorphism styling without compromising performance or responsiveness.

What's next for EDUSPARK Weak-Topic Heatmaps: Adding visual skill matrixes so students can pinpoint exact weak spots in algebra or optics.

Real-Time Mentorship Chat: Expanding the AI mentor into a live multi-modal assistant capable of interactive step-by-step math problem solving.

More Classes & Boards: Expanding content coverage from Class 10 CBSE to State Boards and Higher Secondary curricula.
