Inspiration

As a student, I often find complex topics hard to grasp from traditional textbooks. I wanted to build a personal AI tutor that simplifies learning and makes it interactive for everyone.

What it does

EduSimp explains any topic in three levels: ELI5 (Simple), Standard, and Technical. It also has AI quizzes to test your knowledge.

How we built it

Built using the MeDo AI platform with a focus on prompt engineering and logical learning flows.

Challenges we ran into

Fixed React hook initialization errors using MeDo's "Try to Fix" feature to ensure the app runs smoothly.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of creating a fully functional, multi-level AI tutor that can adapt to different user needs. Successfully integrating the "ELI5" feature—which simplifies complex topics for beginners—is our biggest achievement.

What we learned

We learned how to use no-code AI platforms like MeDo to build complex web applications. We also improved our understanding of prompt engineering and how to debug runtime errors in React-based apps.

What's next for "EduSimp: The Universal Student Tutor"

Next, we plan to add voice-to-text features so students can just speak their questions. We also want to add multi-language support to help students learn in their native languages.
