💡 Inspiration

The idea for EduSarthi was born from a common problem I observed around me—students feeling confused, anxious, and overwhelmed while choosing their careers. Most rely on generic advice, peer pressure, or outdated information, which often leads to wrong decisions. I wanted to build something that could act like a true Sarthi (guide) for students in the digital age.

📚 What I Learned

Through this project, I learned how to translate a real-world problem into a scalable AI-driven solution. I gained deeper understanding of user-centric design, data-driven decision-making, prompt engineering, and how AI can personalize guidance at scale.

🛠️ How I Built EduSarthi

EduSarthi is designed as an AI-powered digital career guide. It analyzes user inputs such as interests, skills, academic background, and goals, and maps them with industry trends to generate personalized career paths and skill roadmaps.
At a high level, the recommendation logic follows:
[ Career\ Fit = f(Interests, Skills, Academics, Market\ Demand) ] The system acts like a 24/7 virtual mentor, helping users move from confusion to clarity.

🚧 Challenges Faced

The biggest challenge was balancing personalization with simplicity—making recommendations meaningful without overwhelming users. Another challenge was ensuring relevance, as career guidance must align with rapidly changing industry demands.

EduSarthi aims to empower students with clarity, confidence, and direction—so they can build future-ready careers based on data, not guesswork.
