Inspiration
Many online learning applications suffer from extreme context retention drift and high operational data processing overheads. EduPulse AI resolves this by removing cloud-API dependency completely for personal scheduling triage tasks.
What it does
Project "EduPulse AI" introduces a localized, edge-native concept model designed to track student study metrics, task latency patterns, and context window demands fully offline. It computes execution loops directly on-device—ensuring absolute user privacy, zero processing lag, and zero cloud maintenance costs.
How it works (Core Logic Script)
The system uses a clean, offline Python data optimization block to verify student task metrics without checking external mainframes:
import math from datetime import datetime, timedelta
class EduPulseOptimizationEngine: """ EduPulse AI: Edge-Native Heuristic Study Schedule Optimization Engine Architect: Angel Sonawane """ def init(self, target_daily_study_hours=6.0): self.target_hours = target_daily_study_hours self.base_cognitive_efficiency = 1.0 self.fatigue_decay_rate = 0.15
def calculate_priority_score(self, task):
days_remaining = max((task['deadline'] - datetime.now()).days, 1)
urgency_multiplier = 10.0 / days_remaining
difficulty_weight = task['difficulty_index'] * 1.5
workload_strain = task['estimated_hours'] / 2.0
return round((urgency_multiplier * 0.5) + (difficulty_weight * 0.3) + (workload_strain * 0.2), 2)
def generate_optimized_schedule(self, task_backlog):
scored_tasks = []
for task in task_backlog:
task_copy = task.copy()
task_copy['priority_score'] = self.calculate_priority_score(task)
scored_tasks.append(task_copy)
scored_tasks.sort(key=lambda x: x['priority_score'], reverse=True)
optimized_schedule = []
current_efficiency = self.base_cognitive_efficiency
accumulated_study_time = 0.0
for rank, task in enumerate(scored_tasks, 1):
if accumulated_study_time >= self.target_hours:
break
actual_time_required = task['estimated_hours'] / current_efficiency
allocated_block = min(actual_time_required, self.target_hours - accumulated_study_time)
optimized_schedule.append({
"schedule_rank": rank,
"task_name": task['name'],
"allocated_block_hours": round(allocated_block, 2),
"predicted_cognitive_efficiency": round(current_efficiency, 2),
"priority_score": task['priority_score']
})
accumulated_study_time += allocated_block
current_efficiency *= math.exp(-self.fatigue_decay_rate * allocated_block)
return optimized_schedule
if name == "main": engine = EduPulseOptimizationEngine(target_daily_study_hours=5.0) mock_student_tasks = [ {"name": "Advanced ML Exam Prep", "deadline": datetime.now() + timedelta(days=2), "difficulty_index": 9, "estimated_hours": 4.0}, {"name": "Database Schema Abstract", "deadline": datetime.now() + timedelta(days=7), "difficulty_index": 4, "estimated_hours": 3.0} ] print(engine.generate_optimized_schedule(mock_student_tasks))
System Architecture Blueprint (Deployment Layout)
To ensure absolute offline utility, EduPulse AI completely bypasses traditional cloud-server mainframes and routes processing tasks through a three-tier local architecture:
