EduPay AI - Smart Learning & Pay Assistant Dashboard
Inspiration
As a student from Bangladesh, I saw many students struggle to understand English courses and face problems paying for online courses safely. So I wanted to build an AI assistant that helps in both learning and payments.
What it does
EduPay AI is a smart assistant that:
- Translates any lesson into Bangla and English instantly
- Explains difficult topics like a personal tutor
- Helps students pay course fees securely using PayPal APIs
- Tracks learning progress and payment history
How we built it
We built the frontend with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and used Python for AI logic. We integrated PayPal Checkout API and PayPal AI Agent Toolkit for secure payments. For translation and tutoring, we used AI Language Model APIs.
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge was integrating PayPal payment flow and making translation accurate for educational content. Also handling Devpost submission from mobile was tricky!
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We built a working prototype that can translate lessons and simulate PayPal payments in one place, specially designed for students like us.
What we learned
We learned how PayPal APIs work, how to build AI agents, and how to present a project on Devpost.
What's next for EduPay AI
Next we want to add real PayPal payment integration, add voice tutor, and launch a mobile app for college students in Bangladesh.
