I was inspired to create EduPay AI to bridge the gap between AI-driven education and seamless micropayments using the x402 protocol, ensuring accessible, transparent, and efficient learning experiences.
What it does EduPay AI is an intelligent learning platform that provides students with personalized academic explanations and answers. It operates on a pay-per-call business model where each service request is securely monetized using the x402 protocol, allowing for granular and efficient transaction management. How I built it The project was developed by integrating AI services with the x402 payment flow. I implemented the complete transaction lifecycle: Challenge: Initiating the request. Sign: Authenticating the user interaction. Retry: Ensuring robust service delivery. Settle: Finalizing the micropayment transaction on the blockchain. Challenges I faced The primary challenge was integrating the x402 payment flow within an interactive educational interface while maintaining a clean, user-friendly experience. Balancing complex backend blockchain interactions with a seamless frontend response required careful architecture and iterative debugging. What I learned This project deepened my understanding of how blockchain-powered micropayments can revolutionize digital access to education. I gained practical experience in API monetization, financial service integration, and building mainnet-ready architecture for decentralized applications.
