Inspiration

The inspiration behind TurboEdu stems from the personal experiences of its creators - Steven, Varun, and Armaan. They have all faced the challenges of managing busy schedules while striving to excel academically or professionally. Their struggle to find time for effective studying and learning techniques motivated them to develop an innovative solution that would empower individuals with limited time to study faster and more efficiently.

What it does

TurboEdu is an innovative mobile application designed specifically for individuals with limited time. It offers a range of features aimed at helping users study faster and more effectively. Some of its key functionalities include:

Meditation: While not an obvious study technique, TurboEdu incorporates meditation as a means to calm users and help them receive information more effectively.

Personal Profile: Users can track their achievements and progress, fostering motivation to set and achieve higher goals.

Interactive Flashcards: TurboEdu provides interactive flashcards to reinforce key concepts. Users can create custom flashcard decks or access pre-existing ones related to their courses or subjects. The app also uses spaced repetition to enhance memory retention.

Quizzes: In addition to flashcards, TurboEdu offers quizzes to allow users to test their knowledge and verify their learning progress.

AI Powered: The app features an AI teacher personalized to assist users in studying faster.

How we built it

We used Flutter with Dart, with the backend being Firebase.

Challenges we ran into

Timezone difference, time constraint while we were visiting family, even recording the presentation on the car.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Being organized enough to meet together although we are at different countries, pushing multiple core features into the app with the limited time.

What we learned

Research and organization are key in order to accommodate multiple timezones and to streamline our workflow as a team.

What's next for TurboEdu

We are continuously working on improving the app's features and user experience. We value user feedback and are committed to refining the application to better cater to the needs of individuals with limited time.
